Vintage Laque Line Nostalgic Vase Glass France Foiled Multicoloured Marked 6.5

Laque Line French Glass Vase, Multicolored, 1970's. Beautifully shaped and colored Glass Vase that stands approximately 6.5 high. This is a signature rare piece that would stand out in a Contemporary or Mid-Century Modern setting. The special glow of this vase derives from the internally hand-applied lacquer technique, common to the Laque Line, that uses a mix of colors and foil, a process that gives depth to the piece.

The piece shimmers with blue, green, gold, rust, brown and other colors skillfully merged to create a dynamic multi-colored effect. The organic shape of the Vase, with a round base, wide center and wide lip, is typical of other Laque Line pieces. Its simplicity shows off the remarkable configuration of colors underneath the surface of the glass. The original Laque Line label on the base of piece states: Unique piece made by hand - Made in France.

Factory logo is part of the label. Condition: no cracks, no chips. Height of piece: 6.5 (base to rim).
