Vintage Lalique Crystal Versailles Large Vase Glass Urn 13-3/4" H x 9" W France Rare. Originally designed by René Lalique in 1939, the Versailles Vase was inspired by Medici vases. This is a perfect example of how classic design can compliment contemporary interiors. The satin-finished and repolished crystal, a Lalique approach that is their signature style, exhibits a finely carved floral motif. Signed at the base Lalique France. Best we can figure this vase is circa late 1970's, but cannot be sure.

Dimensions: 13-3/4" H x 9" W (at the rim) with 5 Square Base. Weight of the piece: 19 lbs, 6 ozs.

Used, but in overall very good condition for its age. This vase does not appear to have any chips or cracks that I can see or feel, except for one very tiny chip on one edge of the base (see picture). The clear section of crystal from middle up to the rim is a bit cloudy when dry (see pictures), and seems to be clear when wet. There is some dirt/crud in some of the ridges from use. A few scratches in a few places just below the rim on the inside of the vase (see pictures). The bottom surface of the base has scratches from use (see picture).
