This listing is for a beautifully HANDSOME quality antique pair of matching Baluster shape white glass opaline vases, (possibly by Baccarat), with a smooth satin feel, made in the mid to late 19th Century, decorated with a beautiful shade of Wedgwood blue enamel with dots and swags of floral design, in a classical style with wonderfully embellished with 24ct gilded scrolls and dots. The top is I feel is decorated in a very superior style. There is no makers mark so I cannot be sure where it was made.

It could be or maybe St Louis or Baccarat or Moser with the scallops and dots. Very superbly finished hand painting. The more I look at them the more I like them... Even though there is slight loss of gilding, which is only because they are probably 150-ish years old....

The opaline glass is without blemish with a polished pontil and is in a classic style with a tall collar above the baluster shape body. The beauty is also in that they are a perfectly matched PAIR.... I have photographed them turning them a 1/4 turn each time until full circle to compare the two.

The first front picture is a repeated on the back with the two medallions and the sides are floral swags. Please let me know if you need more photos..... MEASUREMENTS: 11 X 5 at widest point.
