Mossi vase rare Model 1088 Circa 1933 Rene Lalique
This is one of the earliest versions of Mossi from the thirties, identifiable by the gradient of cabochons wrapping around the bottom. No signature marks are visible. If it is a copy it is also a rarity. Like all Mossi vases it's approximately 21 cm and its weight and frosted glass with clear cabochons are indistinguishable from others. Note the picture lifted off the web of its twin (on the table).

According to the exhaustive French web site on Lalique there are no currently know close copies of the Mossi Vase. Other than scratches on the bottom, the vase is in perfect condition.

It is priced to reflect its origins, as either a rare period piece, or a highly unusual copy. It is perfect for the collector who will prize it for its age and provenance and for the connoisseur who demands perfection and a sense of tradition.
