MELLERIO FRERES OR LEVEILLE GLASS VASE ART NOUVEAU GILT ENAMELED FRENCH MOTTLED JAPANISME URANIUM / MANGANESE. THIS RARE ART NOUVEAU VASE, CIRCA 1880-90, IS LIKELY BY MELLERIO FRERES OR ERNEST BAPTISTE LEVEILLE. 8" HIGH AND 4" WIDE. JAPONESQUE STYLED GILT ENAMELED FLOWERS ARE APPLIED TO THE SURFACE AND MOTTLED COLORS OF OXBLOOD/RUST, WHITE AND BROWN ARE APPLIED INTERNALLY. THE PONTIL IS LARGE AND POLISHED.

A SMALL NICK IS IN THE CENTER OF THE PONTIL, (SEE PHOTO #6); NO CHIPS OR CRACKS ON THE VASE. MINOR RUBBING ON SOME GILT AREAS.
