Legras French Art Glass 14.5 Vase, Enameled Winter Landscape, c. 1910

Welcome To ANTIQUES & MOORE! This listing is for a beautiful antique Art Nouveau French enameled glass vase by Legras, c. The vase has an unusual bottle shape and is elaborately hand enameled with a Winter scene on an amber or topaz glass body. The enameled design features trees in snow with a lady carrying a basket walking in the snow. The snow has been applied in a way that gives texture to this portion of the vase and the design is enameled on glass that has a slight frosted appearance. Vase is signed "Legras" and was produced in their factory near Paris, France. Measures 14 1/2" high with a 2 3/8" diameter top and a 3 3/4 diameter base. This nice vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws although upon close inspection, you will find a few small areas in the painted design where there are some faint signs of normal wear.
