Large Antique Opaline Glass Hand Painted Portrait Vase Blue White Gilt French
An antique large opaline glass vase with a beautifully hand painted portrait. This is white opaline glass that had been painted with a blue background.
It is either French or Bohemian. The vase is approximately 14.75 inches tall and the top is just over 4.75 inches diameter. The vase is in excellent condition with just some light age-appropriate wear. There are some tiny flakes on the inside of the footring on the bottom (the tip of the pen is pointing to them) that are not seen when the vase is on display. Please see the photos for details.
