Huge Round 37" around at middle x 16.5" tall Degué AKA David Guéron (1892 - 1950). Following the 1925 Exposition des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, he set up his glassworks in Compiègne, north of Paris, In 1926, the year after his successful Paris Exhibition, Guéron moved into the more lucrative production of French art glass. He opened Verrerie d'Art Degué in Paris, a glassworks at Boulevard Malesherbes along with a gallery at 41, avenue de Paris to promote the art glass he named "Degué". Degué line used a etching with sandblasting method to decorate monochromatic vessels with graphic devices and designs. David Gueron was jewish and the factory was forcibly closed because of the war 1939.
