Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely French Art Nouveau Art Glass vase decorated with pansies on a rich amethyst opaque upper body shading to clear at the bottom, c. The pansies/violets have heavily applied enamels in vivid shades of purple and golden yellow with green foliage. Most attribute this vase as Legras Larmartine, however, this style vase was also made by Mont Joye and Moser.

The vase has a slightly paneled or ribbed interior body which is commonly found on Moser production and similar vases are pictured in plate 138 on page 129 of the book "Moser Artistic Glass, Edition Two" by Gary D. Whichever maker is credited with the production of this vase, it is a high quality vase with gorgeous enameled decoration. Measures 14" high with a 3 1/2" diameter top and 5 1/4 diameter base. This gorgeous vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. The enameling is without wear or flaking and the gold spray around the upper rim reflects minimal signs of wear. We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible. We are happy to answer any questions and always appreciate your business!
