Large Mid-Century French Iridescent Studio Art Glass Vase by Marcel Saba Biot, France / Circa 1970's 1980's. Large art glass vase by well-known French glassmaker, Marcel Saba of Biot, France. Signed on the bottom "Marcel Saba" engraved into the glass. Hand-blown and fabricated while the glass was hot. Classical form with a semi-opaque white glass body and a light iridescent surface, decorated with thick'ropes' of a darker glass with a highly iridescent finish.

This is a very large example of his work. SIZE : Height - 14.75" (37.5 cm) Diameter - 8.75" (22 cm) WEIGHT - 8 lbs.
