Possible description: The piece would have originally been a globe de marriage, presented to a bride just before her wedding to keep her wedding flowers and bridal jewelry in as a souvenir of her wedding day and it would have stood upon her coiffeuse/dressing table, the piece dates from around the late 1800's. Possible description: Could have been given to the groom for his pocket watch. The piece is in lovely antique condition, the glass epergnes has 1 very very small flake, some of the mercury has worn off the mirror and the cushion is worn and faded.
