DEGUE French Cameo Art Glass Cabinet Vase, c. 1920's

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Degue French Cameo Art Glass cabinet vase, c. The floral design is in a bright tangerine color that darkens as it reaches the bottom and is etched with design details. The background glass is a pale celadon green color with an acid/satin finish with the rim having a pebbled texture.

In 1926 David Gueron, owner of Cristalleries de Compiegne entered the Art Glass business and named his business Verrerie d'Art Degue. Vase is signed in raised letters "Degue" on the side near the base. Measures 4" high with a 1 7/8" diameter top and an overall width of 2 1/2.

This nice vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws or repairs although it may reflect some very minor signs of normal wear.
