Beautiful, rare antique French opaline opalescent glass vase

This unusual vase is a stunning piece of artwork! A hand-blown piece likely from France, it was done in an opaline/opalescent finish, which dates back to 16th century Europe and was achieved by adding oxides to the glass. It is large in stature (8"T x 8.25" W) and has a lovely form. There is a small pontil mark at the base where it would have been removed from the glass forming apparatus.
