Antique Art Nouveau French Legras Clichy End of Day Spatter Glass Vase c1890 9. This is a beautiful spatter Clichy vase, made by Legras in France.

This vase and glass type is referenced in the reference book'François Theodore Legras Verrerie artistique et populaire française (Michel and Vitrat)' showing many types of colors and models of this type of glassware. Legras made vases, candleholders, oil lamps and more in this particular splatter style.

This particular model is called'Czarine', and can be found in Legras catalogues of 1890. The vase has a lovely ruffled top and a beautiful ribbed design. It was partly molded and partly blown. The splatters have lovely ruby red, pink, blue and white colors.

The vase was made in the late Victorian era, around 1890. It is unmarked, which is typical for these Legras vases.

Height vase: about 9 inch / 23 cm. Two very tiny fleabites to the bottom of the vase, some surface scratches and tiny imperfections/bubbles from the manufacturing process, see the photos.
