Antique Rare Daum Nancy French glass chardons vase Art Nouveau cameo acid

(signed with cross of Lorraine). Decorated with chardons/thistles (the famous plant for Lorrain, used often by Daum) with Gilt. Decoration are all edged with gilt- with some obvious wear to the gilt. Three gilt decorated and etched glass islands going inside the rim. VERY VERY rare rim design.

Plenty of acid-etching work was put into this artwork. Also, the glass was decorated with some kind of bumps where the glass is pushed towards the center of the bowl. Signed on the based Daum Nancy with the cross of Lorraine. THE SIGNATURE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO CAPTURE!!! You have to position the bottom in a certain angle to the light source and have some dark background behind the glass.

YET, it is signed indeed (see the last photos and if still in doubt you can ask me for more). EXTREMELY RARE and old (probably, based on the signature, prior to 1900). No chips or cracks - only regular wear due to its age. Please review the photos (always part of the description) and you may want to review my other French glass items.
