Antique French "Boule de savon" opaline glass gilded vase or goblet with hand--painted flower ornament. Up for sale is elegant antique French vase or goblet in white opaline glass called'Boule de savon' with delicate flower decor painting.

White opalescent glass has shades of cold blue and pink when you look through it at sun, light is playing with beautiful shades. Body of the vase is mounted on glass foot. It still wears its original tag saying "Opaline veritable". Vase measures 17 cm (6.7") high and 9 cm (3.5") in diameter.

The weight is 477 gr (16.8 oz). No chips or cracks or repairs. Very slight wear of the gold paint. No scratches to the glass surface. This opaline glass box will be a perfect addition to any collection of "Les Opalines" or an excellent gift for anyone with a love for beautifully crafted antique pieces which one can integrate in contemporary spaces.
