16 Emile Galle Style Green Bamboo and Bird Cut Frosted Glass Vase

Gorgeous, tall vase made in the style of French glass artist, Emile Galle, who was renown for his contributions to the Art Nouveau movement in France. His technique of enameling glass to make raised designs on a think glass vessel is employed fabulously on this vase to form the bird and bamboo plants. These pieces of relief glass vary in thicknesses to make certain areas lighter or darker and give depth to the pattern. Galle was famous for his botanical designs and his love of Asian art which he used as inspiration for some of his work.

This vase is a perfect piece for Asian or French collection or as decoration in nearly any room.
