With an elegant handblown teardrop silhouette, this Baccarat Massena decanter features beveled vertical cuts from the base going halfway up the bottle. The smooth top half and meticulously cut design accentuates any liquid you choose to fill it with. The bottle stopper is just as stunning; in a similar teardrop shape, the beveled vertical cuts lead up to a slightly rounded yet flat top.

When looking through the stopper, the beveled cuts appear as a sparkly, multifaceted diamond. This elegant Baccarat crystal decanter is mostly used as a mini whiskey decanter, but also used as a cruet or perfume bottle. It also makes a gorgeous bud vase, without the bottle stopper. The elegant bottle is in excellent pre-owned condition with minimal signs of wear as reflected in pics. No cracks, chips, or cloudiness; no wear on the bottom. However, the stopper has some damage. Note the SIGNIFICANT CHIP on the stopper stem ; it doesnt appear noticeable under normal lighting when corked since the top of the bottle is frosted. Is a cord or line in crystal glassware considered a flaw? This nearly invisible difference in the density of the crystal occurs during the fusing of molten crystal. It may also occur during other glass-making techniques.

Although visible when it reflects light, the cord is virtually invisible when drinkware or a vase is filled with liquids. This does not affect the quality of the crystal piece. Is a seed or bubble in crystal glassware considered a flaw? Tiny bubbles the size of a pin point sometimes form during the fusing, melting, or blowing process. Is every handcrafted crystal piece within the same pattern exactly the same?

Due to the handcrafting process of each crystal piece, no two pieces are ever exactly alike, and slight variations can naturally occur. This may occur with any glassware. Though, for some patterns, manufacturers may also update their style while leaving the same name. How do you clean, prevent water spots, and store fine crystal glassware?

Never use an automatic dishwasher, abrasive detergent, or coarse sponge, as they can cause the crystal to lose its brilliance, including clouding. Use a mixture of water and ammonia or white vinegar with a mild lemon detergent, along with a wet microfiber cloth. IMMEDIATELY dry and buff using a lint-free microfiber cloth. While its not necessary, we use quality microfiber cloths specifically made for crystal glassware and we love them; message us for a recommendation. To clean residue from narrow vases and decanters, fill halfway with moderately hot water, a small drop of mild detergent, 2 tablespoons white vinegar or ammonia, and 1/2 cup uncooked rice. Swirl the solution around for a few minutes. Rinse well with warm water, hand-dry as much as you can reach, then let the rest air dry.

Store upright in your cabinet; never stack crystal glassware. If youre not 100% satisfied, wed love the opportunity to make it right! We are honest and transparent with our photos, descriptions, and condition classifications to the best of our abilities.

We pack our items exceptionally well, especially fragile items. On average, we spend 30 minutes to 2 hours packing each fragile item, using items such as 3/16 bubble wrap, 1/2 bubble wrap, packing peanuts, packing paper filler, air pillows, styrofoam boards, and/or cardboard sleeves. We photograph (and sometimes video record) the item right before packing and at various stages of our packing job in case its needed as proof. In our experience, many sellers improperly categorize the condition of items, especially the new category. We strictly adhere to eBays condition categorizations. We will only state an item is mint or pristine if it is free of damage and wear. We typically respond in a timely manner, so please await our response before returning the package.
